We are a private, members only facility. We provide several purpose built, convenient ranges for our members to train freely with their firearms in a safe and respectful manner.

We require some minimum level of experience shooting given the amount of allowed freedom at the FARM Training Center. We will hold our members to a high accountability standard when it comes to training safely. Again, we don’t have the typical rules of most other ranges, but when things turn unsafe or negligent, we will intervene. The best way to find out if you qualify is to attend one the organized events happening at the FARM Training Center, meet with a member of management and complete a membership application. If we do not know you and have not shot with you recently, expect a meeting to be required before any membership is offered.

Yes, and no. While we do not plan on having "public range days", there are several of our members who run events that are open to the public. You can see upcoming events on our calendar, HERE. You will need to contact the organizer of the event to register and get full details, but as you can see, there are several events each month that are generally open to the public.

There is a total of TWENTY EIGHT range bays at the FARM Training Center.

There are times we may close certain areas of the range for events or maintenance, but we are truly open year-round with no “hours of operation”, which gives you the freedom to choose the time of day that best fits your schedule. It also allows you to train in ways (and times, conditions, environments etc) not possible at typical shooting ranges.

Each membership level will receive a set number of complimentary guest passes per year. Once you have exceeded your complimentary passes, we do offer guest passes at an additional cost.

We have an online reservation system for members to use, in order to simplify your life and ours. It will allow you to see the availability of all range bays and reserve any bay for up to 4 hours at a time. Reserving a range only takes about 15 seconds. If you are on the range and approaching the end of your slotted time, and no one else has reserved it, you are able to reserve it for another 4 hours.

.50 caliber and below are allowed. Steel Targets - there will be restrictions on distance with the bigger calibers. A round needs to be under 2800 FPS per second when hitting steel to prevent damage, but there will be guidelines in place advising the distance in order to shoot the steel targets. Paper Targets - the only requirement is a dirt berm behind the target.

Safety is our main priority at Farm Training Center. If what you're doing is safe, it's likely allowed - drawing from the holster, moving and shooting, running, rapid fire, steel targets, and most things other ranges won't let you do. We exist so you can train the way you'd actually use a firearm. With that freedom comes real responsibility. Train in a mature and safe way and you will always be welcome here. Act unsafely or break the rules, and your membership will be revoked with no refund.

Waivers & Access

  • Anyone entering the property - for any reason, even if not shooting - must complete the guest waiver before entering. Anyone found on the property without a completed waiver will be considered a trespasser.
  • All shooters are responsible for every round that enters and leaves their weapon. Choose your position and target accordingly.

Member Responsibilities

  • Members are fully responsible for the conduct and safe behavior of their guests. The member must be physically present at all times when guests are on the property.
  • Any damage to the facility caused by a member or their guest is the financial responsibility of that member.

Safety Requirements

  • Eye and ear protection are mandatory at all times on the range. No exceptions.
  • Tracer and incendiary rounds are strictly prohibited.
  • Steel core, bi-metal, and steel-jacketed ammunition are not allowed on any steel targets. Hollow point, lead core FMJ, and other non-penetrator loads are acceptable. (See Steel Shooting Guidelines below for full details.)

Facility Rules

  • Trigger Trash: All trigger trash - brass, targets, packaging, glass, ground cloths, and any materials you bring onto the property - must be disposed of in the provided dumpster before you leave. Nothing gets left on the ground, anywhere on the property. Violations may result in membership suspension.
  • Shooting Glass: Glass may be shot only when fully contained on a ground cloth. You are responsible for collecting and disposing of all glass fragments and the ground cloth in the provided dumpster before leaving. Glass left on the ground - contained or not - is a safety hazard for every shooter who follows you and will not be tolerated.
  • No Pallets: Pallets are not permitted on the range for any reason. They create a debris and nail hazard that affects the entire facility.
  • Berms: Do not climb on or over berms.
  • Scheduling: The online scheduling system is required for all members and is critical to smooth operations at Farm Training Center. Use it every time.

Farm Training Center Steel Shooting Guidelines

  1. Always wear approved eye protection
  2. Always wear approved hearing protection
  3. Always wear long pants and long sleeves
  4. Maintain safe shooting distances:
    • .22 rimfire to .45 ACP handgun: 10+ yards
    • Magnum handguns, subsonic .300 Blackout: 30+ yards
    • Light rifles (.223, 5.56, .300 BLK, 7.62x39): 30+ yards
    • Centerfire rifles (.308, 6.5 CM): 50+ yards
    • Magnum centerfire rifles (.338 LM): 100+ yards
  5. Always ensure your target is rated for the caliber you are shooting.
    • Rifle-rated targets are safe for handguns at 10 yards, but inspect your target after shooting it with a centerfire rifle. Rounds over 3,000 fps can damage the target surface and create unpredictable splatter at closer ranges. To prevent this: use ammunition under 3,000 fps and always follow the minimum distances above. When in doubt, add more distance.
    • Do not use penetrator ammunition. Ever. Steel core ammo (SS109, M855 green tip, etc.) will damage targets immediately.

Enforcement

Farm Training Center cameras are active and periodic member checks are conducted. If we observe or receive a report of unsafe behavior, we will address it directly with you. Unsafe conduct, negligence, or deliberate rule violations will result in immediate membership revocation with no refund. Our decisions are final.

Members will be issued an access code once their membership application is approved. This access code is updated regularly to limit access to only current members and their authorized guests.
