SUMMARY:AT - Concealed Carry Red Dot 1 - June 13 2026
DESCRIPTION:Description: \nThe red dot equipped handgun has become a preferred concealed carry setup for many responsible gun owners. Common frustrations show up in different ways\, not finding the dot during presentation\, the dot moving too much in the window to confirm an accurate shot\, losing the dot after recoil\, or an inefficient concealed draw that breaks your index and slows you down. In this course\, you will learn a repeatable process to solve each of these problems and keep the gun running through common optic issues\, including occluded lenses\, dead batteries\, and other failures that can happen in the real world. \n  \nThis is not a beginner course. You will need a firm understanding of the fundamentals and must be able to consistently pass the 5×5 Drill from concealment. Google “5×5 drill” to find the target and standard\, it is available from multiple sources. We will start the course with this drill to confirm baseline skill and tailor coaching. \n  \nClass Instruction Includes: \n\nCarry position selection and setup\n\nAIWB and strong side IWB\, why these positions\, benefits and tradeoffs\n\n\n\n\nCover Garments\n\ngarment management\, and draw consistency across different clothing\n\n\n\n\nMRDS fundamentals\n\nOptic selection\, what to look for\, what to avoid\, and durability considerations\n\n\nConstant on vs off when not in use.\n\n\nOne dot brightness setting for multiple environments and time of day.\n\n\nBattery choices\, maintenance habits\, and replacement schedule planning\n\n\n\n\nAmmunition considerations\n\nTarget ammo versus carry ammo and why it matters\n\n\n\n\nZeroing MRDS\n\nConfirming zero\n\n\nZero distance selection\, and verification process\n\n\n\n\nHandgun Fundamentals\n\nRed Dot Specific\n\n\n\n\nFinding the dot during presentation\n\nBuilding a repeatable index\n\n\n\n\nReloads\n\nAdministrative versus emergency\nMaintaining dot awareness during reload work\n\n\n\n\nPotential Optic Malfunctions\, how to effectively run the gun when:\n\nBattery is dead\nEmitter is not working\nOptic lens is occluded\n\n\n\n  \nObjective: \nHave a firm understanding of how to safely and efficiently deploy your handgun from concealment and acquire the dot on demand during every presentation. By the end of this course your draw will be more efficient and consistent\, and you will know how to keep the gun running through common optic problems. \n  \nClass Size/Minimum: Max of 12/Minimum 4 \n  \nPrerequisites: Student must have a firm understanding of the Fundamentals and be safe throughout the course. \n  \nCourse Length: 9 hours approximately on the range with a lunch break. Course time is 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. \n  \nRequired Equipment: Select More Info link below for complete course equipment list and more information.

SUMMARY:PPS - Pistol LVL 1 & 2 with BAER Solutions
DESCRIPTION:( -> register on the BAER Solutions website <- ) \nThis is a level 1 pistol course that will stress fundamentals\, and most importantly providing the “how” and the “why” in addition to what you are trying to accomplish throughout the training day. \nBy the end of the day each shooter will know where they are at and what to work on as you go forward in your training. This is not a course where you will just be led through drills and told what you are doing wrong. Here we will work on fixing them based on what works for you. Identifying your deficiencies and giving you the tools to improve is the end state of the class. We will progress from fundamentals to multiple target transitions and an intro into movement. \n\nThis class is meant as an intro to pistol shooting and is considered a level one class. We will cover the fundamentals for the majority of the day and focus on diagnosing the shooter’s individual problems to ensure progress.\nThe class will receive a safety brief\, medical plan\, loading unloading procedures\, range rules\, and of course filling out waivers before we begin.\nThe program of instruction for the day will begin with a standards test\, fundamentals\, actions such as scanning after an engagement\, and progress into multiple target engagements.\nStudents can use a concealed carry holster or an outside the waistband. Duty belts are recommended if that is what you primarily use.\nIf a student wishes to use a single stack pistol\, have the ability to carry 3 magazines on you\, in addition to your loaded magazine.\nMinimum round count is 550 for pistol\, and as always\, more ammo is better.\nOnce you are registered for this class you will receive a pre-class questionnaire to fill out and return and your class packing list.\n\n \nPistol LVL 2\n( -> register on the BAER Solutions website <- ) \nThis is a level 2 pistol course that will stress fundamentals\, and most importantly providing the “how” and the “why” in addition to what you are trying to accomplish throughout the training day. \nBy the end of the day each shooter will know where they are at and what to work on as you go forward in your training.
