SUMMARY:FARM Comp Series - Tactical Rifle
DESCRIPTION:The FARM Training Center holds a Tactical Rifle match on a periodic basis to provide a tactical rifle training opportunity to shooters in a safe\, supervised environment to help shooters increase their safe gun-handling skills and practice with their rifles / carbines. Stages are shot under the supervision of a Range Safety Officer (who will also be shooting the match). A timer is used to record the overall time used by the shooter to address the given stage. Penalties in the form of additional time (usually 5 or 10 seconds) are added for targets missed or for procedural errors. \nCheck-in at 08:30\, shooters meeting at 08:50\, begin shooting at 9am. \nAll divisions score minor using the PCSL K-Zone Target (until we go through the current supply\, then we will switch to the updated 2025+ target design). \n10/5/3/1 points for K/A/C/D zones \nA single round in the K zone neutralizes the target\, scoring 10 points\, and no second shot is required. If no K zone hit is made\, two hits anywhere in the A\, C\, or D zones are required to avoid misses (mikes). Think of a miss as a “failure to neutralize” with this target scoring. Steel targets score 5 points for a hit\, -10 for a miss. Falling steel must fall to score. \nWho can participate:  Any responsible\, safe shooter who is capable of handling their rifle without endangering others.   \n \nMore info about divisions\, stages\, rules etc\n

SUMMARY:BS - Pistol LVL 2
DESCRIPTION:This is a level 2 pistol course that will stress fundamentals\, and most importantly providing the “how” and the “why” in addition to what you are trying to accomplish throughout the training day. \nBy the end of the day each shooter will know where they are at and what to work on as you go forward in your training. This is not a course where you will just be led through drills and told what you are doing wrong. Here we will work on fixing them based on what works for you. Identifying your deficiencies and giving you the tools to improve is the end state of the class. We will briefly touch on fundamentals before we work on movement\, barrier shooting\, pie-ing off doors\, and stress courses. \n\n\nThis LVL 2 class is meant as an intermediate to advanced class for pistol shooting. We will cover the fundamentals for a brief part of the day before training on movement\, barriers\, and pie-ing off angles. \n\n\nThe class will receive a safety brief\, medical plan\, loading unloading procedures\, range rules\, and of course filling out waivers before we begin. \n\n\nThe program of instruction for the day will begin with a standards test\, fundamentals\, movement to static positions\, continuous movement\, barriers\, working angles\, and finish off with a stress shoot. The majority of this day will be spent moving and shooting. \n\n\nStudents can use a concealed carry holster or an outside the waistband. Duty belts are recommended if that is what you primarily use. Note that this is not a concealed carry course specifically. \n\n\nIf a student wishes to use a single stack pistol\, have the ability to carry 3 magazines on you\, in addition to your loaded magazine. \n\n\nMinimum round count is 600 for pistol\, and as always\, more ammo is better. \n\n\nOnce you are registered for this class you will receive a pre-class questionnaire to fill out and return and your class packing list.

SUMMARY:AT - Concealed Carry Red Dot 1 - August 9 2025
DESCRIPTION:The red dot equipped handgun has become the preferred conceal carry method for many responsible gun owners. Those who have experienced frustration with a red dot handgun are either frustrated because they cannot keep the dot steady enough in the window to take an accurate shot\, they lose the dot after recoil or cannot initially find the dot during presentation. Another potential frustration is their draw is not as fast as they want it to be from concealment. In this course\, you will learn how to confidently navigate through these frustrations or any optic malfunction that may arise with the red dot. \n  \nPrerequisites: Student must have a firm understanding of the Fundamentals and be safe throughout the course. \n  \nThis is not a beginner course. You’ll need to have a firm understanding of the fundamentals beforehand and should be able to consistently pass the 5×5 drill from concealment (target found on Luckygunner.com; just Google “5×5 Drill”). We will be starting the course with this drill to get an understanding of everyone’s skill level.\n \n  \nClass Instruction Includes: \n\nCarry Position\n \n\nAIWB and IWB: Why those carry positions. Benefits and Negatives of each\n\n\n\n\n\nCover Garments\n\nConsistency in draw with multiple cover garments.\n\n\n\n\n\nMRDS\n \n\nBrands to avoid\n\n\n\nConstant On VS Off when not in use.\n\n\n\nDot Brightness Setting for multiple environments and time of day.\n\n\n\nBattery Choices\n\n\n\n\n\nAmmunition Choices\n\nTarget Ammo\n\n\n\nSelf Defense Ammo\n\n\n\n\n\nZeroing MRDS\n\nOptic Zero\n\n\n\nZero Distance\n\n\n\n\n\nHandgun Fundamentals\n\nRed Dot Specific\n\n\n\n\nFinding the Dot\n \n\nDuring Presentation\n\n\nWhen lost during recoil\n\n\n\n\n\nReloads\n\nTactical versus Speed\n\n\n\n\n  \n\nPotential Optic Malfunctions: How to use optic when battery is dead\, emitter is not working\, or optic lens is occluded\n\n  \n  \n  \nRequired Equipment: Select More Info link below for complete course equipment list and more information.

SUMMARY:PPS - Extreme Close Quarter Concepts (ECQC) with ShivWorks
DESCRIPTION:The ShivWorks Extreme Close Quarter Concepts (ECQC) course is a two-and-a-half-day (20-hour) block of instruction that offers a multi-disciplinary approach to building functional\, combative handgun skills at zero to five feet. The course is designed to instill core concepts of seamless integration and provide the platform for aggressive problem solving during a life or death struggle at arm’s length or closer. We emphasize the common body mechanics that apply across different skill sets. That way\, all combative software is reinforcing. Once students’ skill sets are ingrained\, they will be stress inoculated with force-on-force drills using marking cartridges and protective equipment. \nTo be clear\, this coursework is not for everybody. It is active\, physical\, and often quite a humbling experience. However\, our students are young and old\, male and female\, large and small\, outgoing and shy\, white collar and blue collar\, experienced and inexperienced. Regardless of your background\, a positive attitude and an open mind will take you far in the ShivWorks curriculum. \n\nDay 1:\n(Four Hours)\n\nCriminal Assault Paradigm\nUnequal Initiative Events\nManaging Unknown Contacts\nPractical Unarmed Combat or In-Extremis Knife modules\n\nDay 2:\n(Eight Hours)\n\nIntroduction to the components of the Combative Drawstrok\nBuilding the #2 position in live-fire\nFiring throughout the horizontal line of presentation\nOff-hand fending positions\nDefault position\nBasic empty hand blows\nTheory of in-fight weapon access\nGrounded basics\n\nDay 3:\n(Eight Hours)\n\nChallenging the potential attacker\nPreemptive weapon access\nMultiple attackers\nNegotiating the F.U.T.\nECQ Handgun retention in holster\nECQ handgun retention out of holster\nHandgun recovery\nHandgun striking\n\n-> SIGN UP THROUGH SHIVWORKS HERE <-\nInstructor Bio:\nCraig Douglas (aka “SouthNarc”) is the founder of ShivWorks\, a consortium of like-minded professionals devoted to training and product development in the emerging field of interdisciplinary problem-solving for self-defense. SUMMARY:BS - Rifle LVL 2
DESCRIPTION:This is a level 2 rifle course that will stress fundamentals\, and most importantly providing the “how” and the “why” in addition to what you are trying to accomplish throughout the training day. \n\n\nThis LVL 2 class is meant as an intermediate to advanced class for rifle shooting. \n\n\nMinimum round count is 550 for rifle and 100 for pistol\, and as always\, more ammo is better. \n\n\nOnce you are registered for this class you will receive a pre-class questionnaire to fill out and return and your class packing list.

If you wish to use a different style of rifle please email before signing up to confirm with me. We will cover the fundamentals for the majority of the day and focus on diagnosing the shooter’s individual problems to ensure progress. \nThe class will receive a safety brief\, medical plan\, loading unloading procedures\, range rules\, and of course filling out waivers before we begin. \nThe program of instruction for the day will begin with a standards test\, fundamentals\, actions such as scanning after an engagement\, and progress into multiple target engagements and an intro into movement. \nHave the ability to carry at least one extra mag on your body. Students can use a plate carrier or chest rig system if you want. Duty belts and kit are recommended if that is what you primarily use. \nMinimum round count is 550 for rifle and 100 for pistol. As always\, more ammo is better. The pistol is required for the class to train on weapons transitions. \nOnce you are registered for this class you will receive a pre-class questionnaire to fill out and return and your class packing list.

SUMMARY:AT - Concealed Carry Red Dot 1 - May 17 2025
DESCRIPTION:The red dot equipped handgun has become the preferred conceal carry method for many responsible gun owners. SUMMARY:AIRSOFT Night Training Event with British JTACs
DESCRIPTION:THE BRITISH ARE COMING!  \nCheck out www.MilSimCityAirsoft.com for detailed rules and information! \nGuest players from the King’s Finest! JTACs from the 1st Royal Horse Artillery will be joining us for a special nighttime MILSIM scenario.April 12\, Saturday 4:00 PM meetup\, games start at 5:00 PM and will go until LATE. Read the detailed rules on our website.$25 Cash or Venmo on-site..400 FPS MAX\, Under 1.5J Semi only.No Snipers or Machine Guns for this night game.Waiver required for all participants\, must be filled out in person\, on site\, hard copy.See our Facebook Event page to mark you are attending!Rental blasters available\, but in VERY LIMITED QUANTITIES BECAUSE OF OUR GUESTS. $30 gets you a premium KRYTAC\, 1000 rounds\, and eye and face protection. \n  \n  \n  \nField Rules: \n1. You will never openly transport your guns to/from games.\nThis is for your own safety. Get a bag and use it. The general public does not know it is not a real gun. The police man does not know it is not a real gun. \n2. You will wear ANSI rated FULL seal safety glasses when you are anywhere on the field.\nYou will know if your eyewear is ANSI rated if it says one of the following: ANSI Z87.1 or ANSI Z87.1+ Your prescription glasses are not ANSI rated. If you need glasses you must use something over them. If at any time you see someone without the required glasses on it is your duty to yell to stop the game and notify a referee so that that individual may safely exit the field. If you do not know if your glasses/goggles/mesh is acceptable please see any referee for verification. If you are under 18 you will wear a full face mask. If you are over 18 you must wear a mask\, smog\, mouth guard\, or other item to keep your teeth and mouth safe from BB’s. \n3. You will remove your guns magazine and clear the action before entering the safe zone.\nAt MilSim City we have a loading and briefing zone. This area is for people who are not actively participating in the games and would like to remain safe from bb fire. This rule is based on a very simple concept: If you cannot fire a bb you cannot harm someone. When you are loading up for a game do not put a magazine in your gun. When you come back from a game to rest in the safe zone remove your magazine from the gun and shoot it once or twice to make sure it is clear. You can be sure we will find anyone that still has their magazine in their gun. You will get one warning and then you will be asked to sit out a game. \n4. No arguing.\nMilSim City has a zero tolerance policy for arguing. That means if you begin to argue over something (anything) you will be automatically ejected for the game. You will not be allowed to return to game play until you talk this over with a referee and the other person involved. We are all here to have fun not be yelled at. \n5. ABSOLUTELY NO PHYSICAL VIOLENCE WILL BE TOLERATED.\nThis might sound a bit weird considering that we are shooting each other\, but MilSim City has a very strict policy about this. This is a simple rule. If you strike someone in any fashion you will be asked to leave FOREVER. We are not talking a game or a month\, FOREVER. The same goes for shooting someone in anger. You get mad on the field\, we all do\, but at MilSim City you WILL WALK OFF THE FIELD. If you begin to argue you’re out for the day\, if you hit/kick/spit/shoot etc. you will be gone permanently. \n6. Chronograph:\nMilSim City will chronograph each and every single gun that is used on the field with .20 BB’s. We reserve the right to chronograph a gun at any time; it does not matter if you were chronographed 5 mins before. Anyone caught adjusting their FPS after being chronoed will be banned. If a referee requests to chrono you will comply or be asked to leave without a refund. At MilSim City we use a accepted FPS system for CQB play\, 400 FPS with .20g BB’s and under is ok to use. 401 FPS and above is too fast and your gun will be not allowed. There is no max BB weight. \n7. Getting Hit:\nEveryone gets hit\, it is a fact. When you are hit\, you will raise your hand or gun into the air and yell “HIT!!!” at the top of your lungs\, so your enemy will know to stop engaging you. You will then cease to speak until you are back in the game (the dead do not talk). A hit is contact anywhere on your body or equipment. Once hit you are now out until: a) You re-spawn at the designated location with the re-spawn condition or b) a medic reaches you and brings you back into the game. When you are hit\, all of your weapons are useless until you re-enter the game through a re-spawn or medic.\nA weapon hit disables your weapon (but not you). If your primary weapon is hit you can switch to a side arm secondary or follow this jam clearing process.\n1. Remove the Mag\n2. Rack the charging handle twice\n3. Re-Insert the mag\n4. Rack the charging handle and your primary is ready to fire again. \n8. Knife kills:\nAt MilSim City everyone has the ability to use a “knife” to kill you. These knives are ALWAYS dull rubber/foam training weapons that can never cut someone. Anything else will not be allowed. The only allowable way to kill someone with a knife is to tap them with it. You will NOT stab someone with it. You will NEVER THROW the knife. Tap them out and they are done. \n9. NO Surrenders:\nIn MilSim City we have no surrenders. Many places have a surrender rule but we seek to make MilSim City as realistic as possible. With the exception of possible game variants you will never surrender an opponent. \n10. Radios:\nScanning of enemy radio channels is allowed; However other Electronic Warfare (such as jamming enemy frequencies) is NOT allowed. Radio Jamming is the quick way to the ban hammer. “Jamming” – a popular definition. \nDo Not:\n1) Preventing the enemy from transmitting messages by holding the PTT down.\n2) Transmitting any message at all on enemy frequencies. Many of us pay the big bucks ($$$) for radio gear\, so we expect to use it in-game. While intel-stealing may be allowed\, denial of communication is not. \n11. Do not Climb on Anything You are not allowed to climb on anything located within the field. You can climb into the bus and use it. You absolutely cannot climb on top of any of the dirt mounds. MilSim City is located within a shooting range and you are not the target\, so don’t accidentally become one.
